Service
A Queensland Approved Inspection Station on the Sunshine Coast. Heavy vehicle safety certificates and certificates of inspection, done by people who also repair the machines — so if something fails, it's fixed and re-checked in one place.
The Department of Transport and Main Roads runs the inspection and certification scheme that keeps vehicles safe and legal on Queensland roads. Vehicle safety inspections are conducted by approved examiners at Approved Inspection Stations (AIS). If a vehicle meets the minimum safety standard, an inspection certificate can be issued. You'll typically need one when registering an unregistered vehicle, or before a registered vehicle is offered for sale.
Most inspection stations inspect and hand you a list. Because we're a full heavy-diesel workshop, a fail doesn't mean starting again somewhere else — we can carry out the repairs and re-inspect in one visit. For fleets, we can fold AIS work into your preventative maintenance program so certificates never lapse.
Falling behind on heavy-vehicle compliance isn't just paperwork. It risks fines, loss of accreditation, vehicles taken off the road, downtime, lost contracts and reputational damage. Keeping inspections current — and fixing defects when they're found — is what keeps your fleet earning and legal.

Road-registered cranes and trucks often need both AIS certification and a major inspection; ongoing fleets are best served by a preventative maintenance program that tracks both.
