Based in Yandina on the Sunshine Coast, Kingy’s Diesel Industries work up and
down the East Coast and internationally on diesel cranes and diesel-related
equipment. We offer a full range of products, servicing and repairs, but diesel cranes
are our passion. We are focussed on providing exceptional customer satisfaction in

We are constantly looking for opportunities to grow and expand our operations. As
such we are seeking to employ a Workshop Manager to assist with our expansion.

About the Role

• You will work with and report to the Owner of the company
• Lead and mentor a diverse team including diesel fitters, apprentices and
subcontractors on heavy diesel equipment, specialising in cranes
• Maintain a culture of safety first throughout the company
• Motivate and continually develop our team, including hands-on practical
involvement in the day-to-day workshop operations
• Ensure all work exceeds customer expectations and complies with Kingy’s
Diesel Industries standards with an emphasis on safety
• Ensure compliance with company processes, policies and procedures

Skills & Experience

• Experience in managing a workshop (preferably with heavy vehicles),
preparing quotations and invoicing (experience using maintenance software programs highly regarded)
• Trade qualifications in repair and maintenance of heavy commercial vehicles
(preferably with experience in crane and access equipment)
• Good knowledge of hydraulic systems
• HR license preferred
