We are constantly looking for opportunities to grow and expand our operations. As such we are seeking to employ a Workshop Manager to assist with our expansion.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- You will work with and report to the Owner of the company
- Lead and mentor a diverse team including diesel fitters, apprentices and subcontractors on heavy diesel equipment, specialising in cranes
- Maintain a culture of safety first throughout the company
- Motivate and continually develop our team, including hands-on practical involvement in the day-to-day workshop operations
- Ensure all work exceeds customer expectations and complies with Kingy’s Diesel Industries standards with an emphasis on safety
- Ensure compliance with company processes, policies and procedures
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Experience in managing a workshop (preferably with heavy vehicles),
preparing quotations and invoicing (experience using maintenance software programs highly regarded) - Trade qualifications in repair and maintenance of heavy commercial vehicles
(preferably with experience in crane and access equipment) - Good knowledge of hydraulic systems
- HR license preferred
