Kingy’s Diesel Industries is a rapidly growing family-owned business located in Yandina on the Sunshine Coast. We have many years experience and expertise in the heavy diesel industry and are now looking to hire a Parts Interpreter/Store Person to continue our growth.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Parts Interpreter/Store Person who is looking for their next challenge, assisting our team involved in cranes, fleet vehicles, trucks, trailers, earthmoving equipment, and hydraulic repairs.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Due to our ongoing success and growth, we are looking for an outstanding, self-motivated team member to join our workshop maintenance team responsible for but not limited to;
- Sourcing and ordering of parts for a variety of machines
- Raising purchase orders and receiving goods
- Managing freight delivery times and maximising efficient delivery costs
- Build relationships and partnerships with suppliers
- Recording and maintaining parts on order using our maintenance software
- Working closely with our workshop maintenance team
- General Store Person duties
- Tooling control and allocation to workshop maintenance team
- Freight pick ups
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
We are looking for;
- Ability to integrate with our team, but also be a self-starter
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Previous experience in a similar role with heavy vehicle equipment is an advantage
- High level computer and data management system skills
- Experience with service management software – JAQ or similar
- Very organised, good time management and meticulous attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license
- Forklift license
